God has an especially big heart for the poor. He makes it a priority to look after them and wants his Church to do the same.

For that reason, the University Vineyard makes an intentional effort to take care of people who are financially, emotionally, spiritually or physically needy.

Here are the specific ministries that we have set up to do this:

“Grace Food Ministry” - Every 3rd Saturday
Grace Food Ministry seeks to reflect Christ by sharing His love and preaching the truth, share from the abundance of God's provision with those in need, see God's power released in people's lives through prayer, and unify our church body to reach our neighborhood for Christ.


The food ministry meets on the third Saturday of every month.  Volunteers can come on the third Saturday from 8-11 am and on the Friday night before the third Saturday from 6:30-8:00 pm to help prepare the boxes of groceries.  People wishing to receive food can come on the third Saturday at 9:00 a.m.  We have a 30-45 minute worship service after which the groceries will be distributed.
